AXA investiční společnost a.s.

Our key activity is collective investments involving the creation and management of mutual funds and, at the same time, institutional portfolio management for subjects in the AXA Group.

As of 31 January 2007, we managed assets exceeding 35 billion Czech crowns.

About the company

• 1992: commencement of activities of Credit Suisse First Boston, the first company in the area of investment banking in the Czech Republic and one of the founding members of the Prague Stock Exchange.
   
• 1992–1995: Credit Suisse Asset Management operated in the Czech Republic under this investment bank.
   
• 1995–2006: in the international financial group Credit Suisse Group, the company was represented by Winterthur Asset Management (Prague) a.s.
   
• 2006: Winterthur Asset Management (Prague) a.s. received a licence from the Czech National Bank to act as an investment company; after acquisition of the Winterthur Group by AXA Group, it was subsequently renamed as AXA investiční společnost a.s.
   
• AXA investiční společnost a.s. became a regular member of the Association of Funds and Asset Management Association (www.afamcr.cz) and the Czech Capital Market Association (www.akatcr.cz).
